Graco pumps that are specifically designed for oil

Graco pump Fireball 5:1 ratio pump e.g 204254 or 203876 have been providing excellent service for many years for thousands of pumping duties including heavy duty applications. The graco Firebail pump is available as an drum length pump for 205Litre Closed top drums, also a stubby fireball pump version.

The new fireball pumps are one size bigger than the standard fireball pump. There are 3 different versions: 3-1, 6-1 or 10-1 ratio. These graco pumps are intended for high volume oil transfer applications.

Double Diaphragm pumps that are used for oil

Graco’s range of Aluminium Double Diaphragm pumps contains a variety of internal wetted parts that are suitable for oil: Acetal, Hytrel, Buna-N and Geolast are all good for oil products. Sizes of pumps range from 3/4″ to 3″.

A Double Diaphragm pump is a 1-1 ratio transfer pump and is not designed to overcome high delivery heads and viscous oil products. In these circumstances, a piston pump is usually a better bet.
